Résonance Contemporaine : Culture and Handicap Resource Pole and Contemporary Music Resource Pole

Created in 1987, with the aim of encouraging creation and appreciation of today’s musics, Résonance Contemporaine offers a diverse and eclectic range of activities. Résonance Contemporaine is a structure which includes the creation, production and diffusion of today’s musics, it has become Culture and Handicap Resource Pole and Contemporary Music Resource Pole.

Résonance Contemporaine : a Culture and handicap Resource Pole

A team able to listen to individuals, families, medical, social and cultural professionals, associations, territorial communities.

To reduce inequalities related to cultural and artistic practices access, and particularly for handicapped people, destitute, imprisoned, or marginalized people.

To accompany people who are willing to experiment diversified artistic practises, of quality and proximity.

To act for a departmental and regional dynamic with :



Résonance Contemporaine : Contemporary Music Resource Pole

"To be interested in today’s music, it’s to be in tune with one’s time, it’s to breathe the world".

To favour musical creation in today’s reality, to support the creation’s works and their diffusion.

To inaugurate new initiatives, exploration, practices and decompartmentalization places.

A tool for creation and composers :

  • two professional ensembles : Les Percussions de Treffort composed by eight mentally handicapped musicians, an educational therapist and five musicians and The Six Soloist Voices Ensemble of six to ten professional female singers.
  • a summer session on musical composition creation
  • Residences of composers in Music Schools, with amateur and professional ensembles
  • A consulting centre : more of 1000 scores, 300 CD’s, magazines, books, informations on ensembles, composers…
  • a role of advice, assistance and expertise
  • a musical programming, « 7bis Chemin de Traverse », in medical, social and cultural structures in the town of Bourg-en-Bresse (France)
  • publications
  • a circulation of competences, exchanges between the medical, social and cultural professionals
  • "Résonances", a regular radio broadcasting, a place for a large audience to express.


Les Percussions de Treffort : a musical creation band directed by Alain Goudard

Founded in 1979, Les Percussions de Treffort are the reflection of a musical adventure rich of meetings and creations. The originality, the interest to join together 15 professional musicians with several peculiarities, results in a work of research and musical creations which is the heart of this band.

The quality of the band’s work, the big requirement, the friendship, the symbiosis, the collective force of the members of the group has led the band to have an original place in the landscape of today’s music.

The development of a repertory all the time growing, has been made possible with the help of many collaborations with prestigious artists: Les Percussions de Strasbourg, Barre Philips, Jérôme Thomas, Louis Sclavis, Carlo Rizzo, Michèle Bernard, Michel Boiton, Michel Doneda, Geneviève Sorin…

With a permanent will to cross the different artistic disciplines, Les Percussions de Treffort offer flavours, feelings that will only open them at the moment of their passage.

Les Percussions de Treffort have been invited by many international and French festivals and stages : Les 38e Rugissants (F), International Jazz Festival of Rive-de-Gier (F), Festival Jazz en Isère (F), Festival Les Irréguliers de l’Art in Lyon (F), Festival Musiques en Scène / GRAME in Lyon (F), South Bohemia Festival (Cz), International Festival de Artes Escenicas Discapacidad de Sevilla (SP), Arts et Singularités in Genève (CH), Académie Frédéric Chopin in Warsaw (PL), Festival Européen Théâtre et Handicap Orphée in Versailles (F), Amphithéâtre de l’Opéra National de Lyon (F), Théâtre de Bourg-en-Bresse (F).

L’Ensemble de Six Voix Solistes
Artistic director : Alain Goudard

Founded by Alain Goudard in 1995, l’Ensemble de Six Voix Solistes is working to enable the public to discover the richness of vocal today’s music. The professional band, with a contemporary creation repertoire, is composed by six talented soloist singers, used to many different musical configurations, and who don’t move back in front of the difficulties.



L’Ensemble de Six Voix Solistes, always in evolution, strengthened by rich collaborations with many composers, is a perfect tool, with variable geometry, offering with subtlety, smoothness and requirement, various programs, in which the six soloist voices give us authentic, unexpected meetings, full of virtuosity and sensitivity.

L’Ensemble de Six Voix Solistes has been invited by many french festivals and stages : Festival Musiques en Scène / GRAME in Lyon, Les Rencontres Contemporaines de Saint-Privat-d’Allier, Les Voix du Prieuré in Bourget-du-Lac.
